| The games on the app store and the android stores are just like this , maybe a very slight animation otherwise just like this is, they are doing very well, and so can ambroid it's a great game, just need to market more, and of you sell it on there it will be perfect, and if you do I promise you will not regret it, the worst it does is stay the same, you won't get a smaller amount of people playing because you made the game into an app as well | |

| I think you under estimate the potential for the game Decap.
Yeah sure, text based games are dying. Its not too bad sitting at home in front of the pc loading up ur browser and playing ambroid (it is a strategy game, people still like strategy games). However with the smart phone era its much more convenient to just load up your app and play. Which is what appeals to most people. An app would only need to replicate the site, it would take like a day to get a working prototype, a week to get a market ready app. Point being, sure ambroid is a text based game, but that is not all it is. Is is a well designed strategy game which absolutely does still appeal to people. |

| To save the game, aim promotional efforts at older gamers. I'm a fossil, being 50, but my age bracket is far less put off by lack of graphics. I played wargames in the 70s & 80s, long before anyone had developed the computer versions. Mine is a target demographic that could buy Ambroid some time, perhaps save it. Find websites frequented by baby boomers who have interests which intersect with those of many of your average players, and I think you'll hit paydirt. Go fossil hunting, guys! | |

| Why would Decap spend any extra time on the game though? I dont think a demographic has ever been created nor a survey put out. That would take time | |

| I have considered what you guys have been saying, about applying updates etc and changes....
i have also looked at the signups, it seems 25% of all signups dont actually make it to the game, generally due to email mis-spellings or it going to junk. to counter this crap i will force after creation to go into the game, so that might help some i guess. mobile phones are targetable and facebook app does exist, but ambroid goes outside the window. to access facebook ambroid, goto apps.facebook.com/ambroid |

| Why dont we make an easier sign up process then? Give them a chance to create their own password instead of making them change it which they would nearly never do. | |

| Well whats the worst bots will do? Set up a captcha code thats really easy, And the worst bots will do will set up more accounts in game which will give users opportunities to get more land and thus more activity. | |

| you can try bots that you yourself make, haveing them at levels of land, dp, and maybe even an option of a counter attack. if you have a way to bring out bots in their own alliance, they could even give aid when attacked, and they either reset their land every hour or so, or gain an x amount of land an hour or so, or every day, etc | |
